Clear benefit: transparent proxy voting would improve corporate governance

Article Abstract:

Proxy voting disclosure regulations should be applied to trustees of Australian superannuation funds and trustees of managed investment funds. The rules requiring institutional investors to disclose their votes and voting policies would improve the standards of governance in Australian public companies.
