The organizational setting, use and institutionalization of argumentation repertoires

Article Abstract:

This article examines the relationship between management and argumentation within organizational settings. Specialized repertoires of argumentation become institutionalized in organizations in order to increase managerial control over negotiations, to constrain employee discourse, and to facilitate organizational change.
