Article Abstract:

The computer software and services industries are expected to continue to grow rapidly, not only in 1998 and 1999 but also through the years 2001 to 2003, as well. Demand for the products and services of these industries is expected to remain high through 1999, and through the year 2003 due to the increasing automation of US business for competitive reasons. These stocks are timely in 1998 and should outperform the market through early 1999.

Article Abstract:

Good sales and earnings are expected for the computer services and software industries, not only in 1996, but through the end of the 1990s as well. Growth is expected to be rapid for software companies as other industries seek applications systems for greater efficiency. Outsourcing will increase growth for computer service companies as well. These stocks are ranked to outperform the market in 1996 and for 1998-2000.
