Costello Bites the Bullet

Article Abstract:

Peter Costello, the treasurer states that to maintain Australia's status as an attractive place for business and investment, the tax system needs continually to adapt to the international business environment. It is expected to improve the tax position and reduce the compliance burden of foreign companies operating under Australian shareholder control.
