Australia's vocational education and training system is being criticized for its failure in solving the country's skilled workers shortage, the federal government's new approach towards training and vocational education, which is facing over funding and business representation disputes, is discussed.

Poisoned performance

Article Abstract:

The adverse effects of ranking employees based on evaluation of their performances are discussed. Such rankings tend to stifle innovations and bring down the morale of other employees. It also creates an atmosphere of non-cooperation and risk aversion.
