Multigenerational transition in family businesses: a new explanatory model

Article Abstract:

Freedom, upbringing, education, outside experience, values, etc., are crucial factors in transition of family business from one generation to another. The importance of sound governance and succession planning in family business is also discussed. In this context, a model for transferring the family-owned businesses to next generation is presented.
