Fading frames: data presentation and framing effects

Article Abstract:

A study was conducted to examine the relationship between data presentation and framing effects. Experiments were done to present decision makers an understanding of the properties underlying framing. Results show that the facilitation in shifting of weights among attributes of alternatives during data presentation generates framing effects. In addition, such effects are limited when more information is presented.
