The economic fluctuations of the furniture and home furnishings industry depend heavily upon the actions of the U.S. Federal Reserve Board, but many high-end home furniture manufacturers remain solid investment opportunities. The majority of this industry will be affected by any change in the consumer interest rate, but office furniture manufacturers continue to benefit from the large upswing of activity in the small office/home office market.
