Successful business relationships

Article Abstract:

The article examines corporate relationships with stakeholders other than a firm's customers, such as its employees and suppliers. A model is presented that breaks these relationships down into three parts, which are drivers of relationships, such as previous contacts and reputation; nature of relationships, such as stakeholder expectations; and outcomes of relationships, such as a stakeholder's intentions regarding future contacts with the firm.

Article Abstract:

Connecting Corporate Governance, Corporate Reputation and Corporate Responsibility are linked through an examination of stakeholder relationships. The analysis is conducted in three ways by means of an implement called the Stakeholder Performance Indicator, Relationship Improvement Tool or SPIRIT.

Are CSR and corporate governance converging?

Article Abstract:

A study that explores the relationship between corporate social responsibility (CSR) and corporate governance from the perspective of main board directors and company secretaries is examined. An analysis of shareholder and stakeholder theory shows that the scope of corporate governance has expanded over time. It is concluded that the development of more formal governance structures reflect the alignment between CSR and corporate governance.
