Companies have found that they can save money on employee health care by carefully going over hospital bills. Companies or insurance companies carefully audit hospital bills before they are paid. Some companies are even offering incentives to their employees for checking their own hospital bills.

Directors' Fees: Pay for Performance

Article Abstract:

Compensation for a company's directors is examined. Retainer fees are necessary regardless of meeting attendance. It was found that many companies increased retainer fees despite layoffs and cut backs. Other benefits have also been given to directors on top of their high salary.
