House bank full overdraft list released

The House Committee on Standards of Official Conduct, on Apr 16, 1992, revealed the names of 252 serving and 51 former members of Congress who had written bad checks at the House bank during the 39 months ending Oct 3, 1991.

House votes to release names in check-bouncing scandal

Members of the House of Representatives have voted unanimously to release the names of 355 legislators who have had overdrafts in their House Bank accounts. Some overdrafts have been in the tens of thousands of dollars.
