Article Abstract:

A brief history of three Australian construction companies, James Hardie Industries, Boral and Rinker Group is given. These companies, which have had remarkable success inspite of different styles, have spent a decade in learning how to sell pipes, bricks, tiles, cement, concrete, sand, asphalt, decking and eaves to the Americans, who take on more debt and build bigger houses every year.

Former chief executive of Ford Motor Company, Jac Nasser was sacked in late 2000. The same year saw the removal of about 1106 chief executives. Details of removal of chief executives some of the companies are discussed.
