Statistics of some of the companies in the Household products industry and their securities rankings as of April 8, 2005 are furnished. Procter & Gamble, and Colgate-Palmolive look attractive from long-term perspective. But overall, the industry will be grappling with commodity inflation, which only the big companies will manage to absorb.
