How energy policy and the budget intertwine

Article Abstract:

The US government holds a great deal of the land that contains oil and gas and other natural resources and is not permitting the development of much of this land. As a result, the US is forced to import over half of its oil. Environmentalists and other topics are discussed.

Private sector won't surrender on ANWR

Article Abstract:

The US Chamber of Commerce urges Congress to retain provision for oil exploration in Alaska's Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, even though the Senate has objected. The Interior Department says the refuge could produce over 9 billion barrels of oil.

We must "get the American economy moving again." (Editorial)

Article Abstract:

The US Chamber of Commerce supports a program through the National Business Agenda that provides guidelines for making the economy stronger. Americans need solutions for providing employment, health care and education.
