Article Abstract:

The influence wielded by the labor unions on the Australian Labor Party, and the repercussions of the proposed changes to the industrial relations policy on business enterprises are discussed. A comparison of employment statistics is done to analyze the effectiveness of the Australian labor and industrial relations policies.
