Commission reports on criminal justice

Great Britain's Royal Commission on Criminal Justice issued a report Jul 6, 1993, calling for 352 changes to the British court system. One of the more controversial recommendations was limiting the right to trial by jury. Several of the commission's suggestions are detailed.

The Fed's Aug 4, 1993, report found the US economy achieving only a slow to moderate growth rate from data collected in Jun and Jul 1993. The San Francisco, CA, region reported the slowest growth rate.
