Leap Deal With Y&R Stalled

Article Abstract:

Young and Rubicam's acquisition of Leap Group's One World Communications is being slowed by a case against Leap made by Y A R Communications. Y A R claims that Leap agreed to sell it to Young and Rubicam without the involvement of its two top executives. Negotiations were underway in September 1998 to settle out of court. The sale of One World cannot be completed until the case is finalized.
