Miyazawa criticizes U.S. work ethic

Japanese Premier Kiichi Miyazawa on Feb 3, 1992, criticized the American work ethic, suggesting that US employees had not worked hard enough in recent years. The accusation further complicated the debate between the US and Japan about the source of US economic problems.
