Model portfolios: recent developments

Article Abstract:

Three types of portfolios for investors with different attitudes and expectations from stocks are suggested. The first portfolio lists the stocks with above-average year-ahead price potential, the second portfolio lists the stocks for income and potential price appreciation and the third portfolio lists the stocks with long-term price growth potential. The suggested portfolios are based on the stock performances as per data available as of September 16, 2005.

Although computers are changing our world and the Internet is doing things we never thought possible, there are scholars who are still not impressed. Professors voice their opinions about the social aspects of technology and how it affects people rather than how it may improve our lives. They tend to see many faults that arise in the merging of technology and humanity and they do not hesitate to point them out.
