Australia can become home to several big biotech companies and develop a solid base if it recognizes the potential of its biotechEs that have substantially outperformed non-biotech Initial Public Offer (IPO) on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX). Australians are innovative, prepared to shift paradigms and succeed against the odds, a society having bioteches of multicultural mix, which if used in the combination of Australian pioneering and Asian capital mixture is a potential mixture.

The missing links

Article Abstract:

Billions of dollars have been spent on medical and agricultural biotechnology research but the community has not received that much return since the most serious missing link is the lack of connection between government research and Australian biotechnology companies. The various measures to deal with this, one of them being the role of specialist analysts should be increased, are presented.
