Statistics of some of the companies from natural gas (distribution) industry and their securities rankings as of March 17, 2006 are furnished. The warmer-than-usual winter has decreased the earnings in the industry. However, the stocks from this sector are worth considering by investors who are looking out for safety and better-than-average dividend yields. There is little price performance chance for the stocks of this sector.
