Net Profits Suffer From NBA Lockout

Article Abstract:

The National Basketball Association lockout had a negative impact on related small businesses and workers as well as on players and owners. The abbreviated 1999 season will cause sales losses of at least $1 million to some businesses. Mid-sized cities that have basketball teams were especially hard hit.
