Epidemiology's role in the creation of a humane world: convergences and divergences among the schools
Article Abstract:
The role of epidemiologists in the development of epidemiology committed to the preservation of human life and society is discussed. Epidemiologists must become witnesses to processes that endanger people's lives, monitor the quality of life and participate in human development projects. These goals can be achieved by promoting workers' health, developing conditions for safe and beneficial consumption and environmental protection initiatives.
