Proactive corporate environment management: a new industrial revolution

Article Abstract:

Environmental programs are becoming an integral part of corporate cultures and international competitive strategies. The trend toward environment protection has been triggered by pressures from the government, employees, customers and business rivals. Stringent environmental policies have also forced companies to adopt measures to provide a cleaner and healthier environment. The result of these efforts was favorable to the concerned firms because it made them more efficient and competitive.
