Methods and instructions to generate business value and money, are presented with reference to the case of Lip SmackinE Sausages, which has lost the business to Kroger stores. Business leaders should believe in the value of their services, target the right buyers, understand the customers and maintain value-based relationships with them.

The 'services' that differentiate Mayo Clinic from others and the substantial difference that services have brought on at IBM are examined.
