Responding to the Forces of the Flea Market

Article Abstract:

About twenty-five million used cars were sold in this country in 1983, and Eli More has found a unique way, at least for some Texans, to sell or buy used vehicles. The Houston Autofair Inc. rents twelve acres of pavement by the day, week, or month to people who want to sell their cars. More first observed this flea market approach to car sales in Israel, and brought it back to Houston. The Autofair attracts about 1,600 shoppers a day, and in its first year Autofair cleared over $250,000 from rental fees, as no admission or commission is charged.

Heavens Help Us

Article Abstract:

Computers are able to easily perform the intricate calculations involved in drawing up a chart. Recent gatherings of stock analyst-astrologers do not show a consensus of opinion on the market. There are as many bearish analysts as bullish.
