Report of the 1995 R&D Management Prize Committee

Article Abstract:

The R&D Management Prize Committee adjudged the quality of the articles in the periodical's 25th volume, published in 1995, as far superior to the papers in the 1993 and 1994 issues. The committee awarded the coveted Epton Prize for best published article to Elko Kleinschmidt and Robert Cooper, who wrote on the importance of various success determinants in industrial product development from two perspectives.

Article Abstract:

Although the Advisory Council on Social Security was unable to agree on any recommendations for solving Social Security's financial problems, the council did agree that Social Security should make investments that earn more than US Treasury bonds.
