Semiconductor industry

Article Abstract:

The semiconductor industry is expected to decline about 15% in the year 2001, and the situation is being hurt by the sagging US economy. Intel and Advanced Micro Devices have had to slash prices, but the communications sector of the industry is a bright area. These stocks are not timely in 2001.
