Sen. Packwood resigns from Senate after ethics committee recommends his expulsion; documented evidence released

Sen Robert Packwood announced he would resign from the Senate after he finished working on the budget as chairman of the Senate Finance Committee. The ethics committee ruled that he sexually harassed women, sought favors from lobbyists and impeded investigation into his conduct.
