Shoe industry

Article Abstract:

The shoe industry is expected to perform well in 1997, and these stocks are favorably ranked for investors. Many companies in this industry are expanding and diversifying their product lines in order to minimize business cycle risks, and exposure to foreign markets is being attempted by several firms to offset a declining US market. Investors must seek timely, safe, and strong stocks for commitment, as their values have increased since Nov 1996.

Shoe industry

Article Abstract:

The cyclical nature of fashion trends for the shoe industry and industry dependence on them have been increasing the amount of market risk for niche companies. However, some companies will continue to experience slow growth, although the footwear market in the US has matured. The international market is also expected to expand through the end of the 1990s. Investors should diversify holdings in this industry to alleviate risk.
