Show me the money, X-Files star implores

Article Abstract:

David Duchovny, star of the television series "The X-Files," has filed a lawsuit against Fox Broadcasting Co. claiming that he was cheated of syndication profits when the network sold the show to its own cable channel and other Fox-owned outlets. This closed-market practice is known as vertical integration. Duchovny also alleges that Chris Carter, executive producer and creator of the show, was silently involved in Fox's agreement.
