Britain's efforts to stimulate productivity in small business

Article Abstract:

The financial environment for a company in Great Britain may require more than government aid to increase productivity. Tax reductions from 83 percent to 60 percent at top rate will help. Product and Process Development Scheme allows small company to take outright a nonrepayable grant for 25 percent of the expense of developing and designing new process or product.

International commerce is supported by few American export trading firms. The opportunities and needs for international commerce are there for small companies. Export Trading Companies can provide the necessary help for the small companies to gain entry into the international economic scene.
