Snow site an uphill battle

Article Abstract:

Richard Tribe and Ian Dunlop have gradually built Sno-Info, a web site that broadcasts snow conditions from cameras placed at ski resorts. Sno-Info is turning over $250,000 a year but is not expected to make a profit until 2002. Almost becoming insolvent in December 1997, relatives provided needed cash to fund cameras. Sno-Info has cameras at every ski resort in Australia. Sno-Info's goals are to increase advertising revenue, customize snow reports, and to add electronic commerce capabilities.

A focused knitter is looking good after unravelling a near-death knot

Article Abstract:

Gale Australia's recovery after an economic downturn emphasizes the importance of adhering to a successful strategy.
