Soft drink industry

Article Abstract:

The soft drink industry is expected to grow in 1996, especially in the international market. India, China, and Eastern Europe are among the more interesting areas of expansion for Coke and Pepsi, but Mexico's devaluation of the peso has made this a problem market for both companies. New forms of packaging has been one growth factor, also. These stocks can be expected to outperform the market for the next three to five years.
