The increase in mergers and acquisitions of listed property trusts in Australia is discussed. The trend is evident from recent announcement of merger by Mirvac and James Fielding Group which follows close on heels to the merger of General Property Trust with Deutsche, its three trusts and lend lease units. Analysts expect that ING Office Trust may be the next pick.
