Suppliers of telecommunications equipment are benefiting from 1995 legislation which eliminates barriers between telecommunications segments. Eastern European, Latin American, and Asian countries are also investing in telecommunications infrastructure to encourage growth. Earnings grew 57% in 1994 and are expected to increase 33% and 26% in 1995 and 1996. This industry will outperform the market for the next three to five years.
