Telecommunications equipment industry

Article Abstract:

The telecommunications equipment industry has been extremely economically healthy in the last several years and gives every indication that it will continue to improve. The other danger is the rapid pace of technological change in both the telecommunications and telecommunications equipment industry which has hurt some companies and investors but has been extremely rewarding to others. Investors who are aware of technological trends will continue to benefit from the industry.

Telecommunications equipment industry

Article Abstract:

The telecommunications reform bill in 1996 is the most interesting recent development for the telecommunications equipment industry. Open markets for cable television, local exchanges, and others are provided when certain requirements are met. Business should increase in the 2nd half of 1996 after purchasing decisions become clear and cellular phones digitized, and foreign markets are also increasingly important. These stocks are timely in 1996.
