The early 2003 has not seen much hope towards the improvement of the uncertain economic conditions that have been passed over from the previous year. However, a bounce in the consumer confidence, and the possible passage of a tax reduction package bring in a ray of hope in the forecasts of the economic conditions and stock markets.

The first quarter of 2003 has not seen any improvement in the slackened economic and stock market situation experience in 2002. However, global tensions such as terrorist attacks, and the possible war with Iraq start to subside, the market's comeback may be predicted.

The second quarter of 2003 is rather gloomy for the growth of the United States economic and stock market position. However, the tax reduction policy, and the run up in equities, especially on the NASDAQ, seems prospective enough for further growth.
