The best-of-class solution

Article Abstract:

The best-of-class integration approach is a solution that enables companies to integrate new system features without having to depend on the integration planning of only one software developer. Under this approach, companies have the freedom to choose the best application for each business area and attain integration without undermining application capability. This means that they are free to design its own system structure employing several products from different vendors. They are, therefore, not forced to use the products being offered by a single vendor. In using the best-of-class integration approach, companies must focus on their business goal, select best-of-class products, keep their options open, and look for desktop, server and database touch points. Moreover, they should recognize the most reliable standards methodology.

Business visualization in N-dimensions

Article Abstract:

Business visualization in N-dimensions facilitates better understanding of business situations. The method involves visual presentation of related data sets in one illustration, allowing business executives a pictorial view of their company's status in relation to the whole business community. Current graphics work only in two dimensions. In comparison, N-dimensions coupled with three-dimensional inserts provide more sets of data in a single screen and print them on a one-page publication. N-combinations allow various data combinations reflecting all factors which influence a business. The method's capacity to analyze in real time terms revolutionizes financial data perception. Some business visualization packages available are: "N" View, IDL(Interactive Data Language), PV-Wave, AgX/Toolmaster 1.2, and Fingraph II version 3.0.
