The bubble debate

Article Abstract:

The economic trends in the housing market indicate that the average price of a house increased since 2000. A compare and contrast between the housing market and the stock market is drawn, showing marked similarities such as, long-lived assets, borrowed funds, presence of market professionals (brokers), closings and settlements. Observing certain important features such as, interest rates, resale values, market conditions conclusions can be drawn that, a "housing bubble," is on the place.
