The complexity of consumersE cognitive structures and its relevance to consumer behavior

Article Abstract:

The consumers decision-making process regarding product that depends on the information processing style employed, which is associated with the complexity of a consumerEs cognitive structures since it holds much promise for consumer behavior, is addressed. Results of the study indicate that the Repertory Grid, developed in social interaction contexts, is a reliable instrument for measuring cognitive complexity in the consumer behavior domain.

Five technology-enhanced pricing strategies that depict both advantageous usage of information technology-enhanced pricing strategies (ITEPS) and their alternative interpretations are examined. The relevant regulations and the increased complexities associated with the usage of each pricing strategy in the modern high-technology marketplace are discussed.

Implications of pricing strategy-venture strategy congruence: An application using optimal models in an international context

Article Abstract:

A methodological alternative to traditional linear, analogue and distance models is used for determining the value of pricing strategies in international operations. The results indicate that specific pricing strategies differ significantly in their ability to enhance venture performance.
