Authors who supported the efforts and goals of the Vietnam War provided great support to Pres Johnson. His supporters included John Steinbeck, Allen Ginsburg, John Dos Passos and John Updike. They did so for various reasons, including the support of communism and the support of the South Vietnamese to achieve their political determination.
