The year of the dragon

Article Abstract:

Reviews of yuan, internationally and financially, have a fundamental implication. A dynamic change occurred, in the beginning of new era, when China preferred a managed float and modest appreciation in its currency instead of United-States-dollar-pegged exchange rate. Effect of yuan, is expected in other Asian currencies, over the next five years.

Article Abstract:

In its free trade agreement with the U.S., China and very soon with Japan, Australia is cutting prices too far and giving away too many concessions including technology transfers. This has put doubts in many an Australian mind about real substantial benefits.

Australian ore supplier BHP Billiton and China Iron Ore and Steel Association (CISA) are at loggerheads over the price of iron ore. Meanwhile the Chinese Government is taking measures to reduce iron ore imports and encourage domestic production.
