Top management decision sharing and adherence to plans

Article Abstract:

Organizational strategic missions bear positive and negative results to firms' adherence to plans relative to top management decision sharing. Studies of over 109 independent firms showed positive relations between top management decision sharing and adherence to plans by firms with harvest and hold strategies and a negative relation to firms with a build strategy. Overall, top management decision sharing has no direct influence over firms' adherence to plans and further studies suggest determination of adherence status that will have greater impact on organizational performance.
