Toward understanding marketing students' ethical judgment of controversial personal selling practices

Article Abstract:

The ethical judgment and moral sensitivity of marketing studies with regard to dubious sales practices were studied. A questionnaire was given to 198 marketing students with 20 ethical problems, an experimental situation and another situation to be reevaluated. The study showed that marketing students' ethical judgments were mixed. It also suggested that sensitization to ethical issues through courses in business ethics should be given emphasis.
