Verification of the design with contractors and vendors by the designer prior to the bidding process will eliminate excesses in high or low bidding and reduce the possibility of misrepresentation and misinterpretation. Deficient designs can be altered to include improvements based on vendor feedback and new technology.

A study was conducted on a unique method for incorporating learning curve analysis into critical resource diagramming. The approach focuses on time estimates in critical resource diagramming. Results proved that the technique can provide a pragmatic and realistic representation of time performance in a production environment.
