The shares of Wal-Mart Stores Inc. have good price appreciation potential over the 2010-2012 timeframe. The Bentonville, Arkansas-based retailer has 1,075 discount stores, 2,256 supercenters, 579 Sam's Clubs, and 112 Neighborhood Markets in the United States and 2,757 foreign stores in Latin America, Europe, Canada, and Asia as of January 31, 2007.
