'We match service to shippers" US port profile - Delaware River ports

Article Abstract:

Exports for the Delawre River ports are dropping because of the decrease in heavy industry. Currently the Delaware River Port Authority is marketing commodity services the ports can provide. The port authority is using data bases to provide up-to-date information for shippers.

Florida's ports handled over $10 billion in exports in 1980, and increases are expected in 1981 and 1982. Port of Miami completed a $50 million expansion.
