The association represents conferences, exhibitions and meetings organized by members of the association. Meetings are scheduled between Mar 1998 and Dec 2 1998. The name of the conference, the location of the conference, the telephone number, the fax number and the electronic mail address of the conference manager are included.

Airport 'noise sharing' generates a new din

Article Abstract:

The policy of noise sharing by arriving and departing aircrafts in Sydney airport violates safety standards according to the Bureau of Air Safety Investigation. The environmentally dictated policy does not address training of staff and can lead to accidents. While the transport minister has supported the implementation of safety recommendations, there is no indication of these happening quickly.

Leighton innovates and gets the jump on its Hong Kong competition

Article Abstract:

Leighton has established itself well in Asia and now has contracts from the new Hong Kong government to building housing, health transport and utility systems. The company's jump form design is an efficient and safe way of ensuring quicker completion of projects. Leighton believes that it will make a profit after the first few projects pay for the equipment design and construction.
