With Philips account, Carat strikes gold

Article Abstract:

Philips Electronics chose Carat North America to do its global media buying because Carat's bid was creative and fair. Carat will select the television advertising spots that Philips will buy, but it also proposed a deal with MTV to provide video clips for Philips' Web site; the same type of deal was suggested for music videos. All 89 Carat offices worldwide were part of the pitch to win the lucrative account. Other clients include Pfizer and AOL Time Warners' New Line Cinema. New billings for the US unit come to $950 million since January.
